Hej København !
I went to Danemark 🇩🇰 from Finland 🇫🇮 in order to visit Copenhagen. I had some troubles during my trip : I was waiting for the wrong plane and missed mine... 😅 I cried (yeah yeah strong girl 😂😅). I will explain : I woke up at 3 am in order to take a bus at 4 am. The travel between Turku and Helsinki is about 2 hours. I arrived really early so I bought a cake and a hot chocolate. When my plane was written on the screen, I waited in front of the door. Everything was fine. When the boarding started, I waited to by at the end (I don't like to by in a hurry and push in a crowd). I gave my boarding pass to the flight attendent. Suddenly, the flight attendent told my that I can't board. Nothing else. I was really surprised and asked her why. She told me that was the wrong plane. Nothing else. I started to stress and asked questions to this unprofessional person (no motivation, helpless and bored) and she answered that she has no idea for helping me... It is just her job...
I ran into the airport in order to find a screen and found no other plane for Copenhagen. I returned to the flight attendent and they told me that my plane already take off... Without calling missing person... O-o
After that, it was a really complicated process : it was too early to call anyone so I walk in order to find my company stand. I walked a lot and found nothing. So I tried to go out the airport in order to come back home. At the custom, they refused to get me out. They don't speak English very well (or jut don't speak English) so it was hard to explain my problem but a nice person translated for me. The custom personal advised me to booked another plane to go to Copenhagen and I'll find my company stand at the door 27A. OK. Everything started to get better. I walked to the door 27A and found nothing, but at the door 29A I found my company stand!!! Release! Not really... At the stand, there was only 2 trainee which don't speak English very well and I understand that this stand is just for the bank part of the company.
I admit, at this moment I cried. So they helped me and told me that at the door 40D there is a big office and there I will by able to buy a new ticket. Great, I took my courage and walked through the airport to find the door 40D. You know what? The door 40D didn't exist. As well as the door 40C and 40B. Just the door 40A exist and it was just an exit...
I was really exasperated. So I found a office of the Finnish airline and bought a super expensive ticket 😅. I have to wait 8 hours before the boarding so I waited on the floor, near a electrical outlet.
Copenhagen is a quite beautiful town l: a t of monuments and great places such as Street Food Market (one sweet and one salty), Stroget, the Royal Palace, etc.
However, I had a bad experience and a bad image of Dannish people. Dannish looked really naughty, agressif, quite mean and impolite. For example, I was at the Street Food Market, set down on a table and a Dannish woman picked me up (so rude). There seemed cold, and unhappy, even the sellers were rude... The only person who is nice was the stranger who comes to Copenhagen to work.
I slept in a really amazing hostel : Axel Guldsmeden ! It opened in 2007. This hotel follows some ecological values. Indeed, the hotel is great for eco-conscious travelers who still want a certain level of comfort and quality. It has the Green Globe certification.
My room was cute and really comfortable. The mattress was soooo comfy ! I slept so well.
I pretty sure I'll visit Copenhagen again because I need to change this bad impression :) So, see you soon ! ;)
