The 1st week of July 2020 I came for the first time to Montpellier, France. I'm looking for an apartment 'cause I'm going to live there for at least 1 year ! I'm soooo excited !!! My sisters, my mom and I used that as an excuse to take a week's vacation. So I both visited apartment and have some really fun.

We traveled the 1st of July. Pharès disliked the transport... He kind of freaked out a little bit... I was really really scared. He spend 6 hours under the couch after that...

The first night we went out to have diner. We ate at Café Léon, near Saint-Roch Church. The food was goo-ood ! I have the impression that all the restaurants are really delicious and pulling each other's backs.

After that, we walked in the old city, around Comédie and Corum. It was a very nice walk.

The second day was about the apartment hunting and school inscription... By going to one adress to another, I see the town. I love the old town. That's pretty and has a lot of character.

We ate a brunch at Le Hood. Again, the food was delicious, the restaurant well-decorated and the manager adorable. All the food is hand-made. The quantity is more than enough. We were completely full when we went out.

I ordered a smoothie, advocado toasts with poched eggs and pancakes !

PLAGE

The beach is wild. There are no buildings (as you can see on the pictures). It's quiet and pleasant. To get there we took the tram. At the terminal is the special beach shuttle.

There was only one place to order drinks. We took fruit cocktails to celebrate the signing of my lease and my registration!

ANTIGONE

The Antigone district is huge! The buildings are really grandiose! To get there, you have to cross the big mall. We got a bit lost to find the shopping center but we got out of it haha. The district of Antigone also includes the Olympic swimming pool with its glass roof, media libraries and restaurants.

We walked from the beginning of the Antigone district to the end (river) and then went to the Botanic Garden.

JARDIN DES PLANTES

It took us soooo much time to walk from the River to the botanical garden ! It was in the afternoon, under the sun. When we arrived, we drank water from the fountain (free) and sat for like 30 min lol. The plant garden is really worth a visit. It is beautiful and easy to reach (tram stop). We even saw frogs.

PALAVAS-LES-FLOTS

We went to Palavas-les-flots to eat mussels and French fries by the sea. Getting there is quite simple. You just have to take Tram 4 to the terminus (Be careful, Tram 4 makes a loop). Just next to it there are several buses going to Palavas-les-flots.

More article about Montpellier and the area will coming ! I hope you enjoy this post ! See you next time :*
